On September 11, 2026, the renowned legal media outlet Asian Legal Business (ALB) held their Hong Kong law awards ceremony in Hong Kong. JunHe won the Finance Deal of the Year for New World Development’s HKD 88 billion refinancing. JunHe partners QIAO, Zheyuan (Jacqueline), Chris TANG and [[]] attended the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
New World Development’s HKD 88 billion refinancing was one of the most significant and influential transactions in Hong Kong's financing market in recent years. JunHe served as the Chinese legal advisor for the lenders, the existing lenders and the agents in this project. Facing a tight schedule and a complex transaction structure, JunHe provided comprehensive legal support for this historic transaction as well as solid legal expertise, keen industry insight and efficient cross-jurisdictional collaboration.
