Professional Experience

Ms Qiao is a partner in JunHe’s Hong Kong office.


Ms Qiao is specialized in derivatives and structured finance. She has extensive experience advising international banks, funds, Chinese financial institutions and fintech companies in the areas of OTC derivatives, exchange traded products, structured products, asset management, cross-border finance and HKMA/SFC regulatory advisory. She is keen to provide more comprehensive solutions to client’s financing request using her knowledge and experience in derivatives products.


Before joining JunHe, Ms Qiao has previously worked as a lawyer at Clifford Chance, Ashurst and Linklaters, as well as with a major investment bank where she worked as a structurer in the Greater China cross-asset structuring team, being responsible for cross-asset derivatives products structuring and documentation of complex financing transactions. She assisted clients to make cross-border investment or leveraged investment via products such as total return swaps, repos and leverage notes.


In addition, Ms Qiao also provides Hong Kong legal advice to clients in the fields of Blockchain and Fintech. She has provided structuring and regulatory advice to clients in the areas of crypto derivatives platforms, crypto exchanges, digital currency asset management platforms, ICO, STO and NFT, etc.
