Josh has worked in JunHe’s Shanghai and New York offices and is currently based in the New York office. Josh is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is qualified to practice PRC law.
Josh is familiar with both U.S. and Chinese corporate law and has been involved in numerous cross-border transactions. He has led many projects involving the formation, operation and dissolution of PRC and foreign companies, private equity investments, acquisitions, and reorganizations of public companies. Josh has led investments in innovative companies and key projects by state-owned investment institutions in cutting-edge or emerging industries such as telecommunications (chips), artificial intelligence, and pharmaceuticals. Josh specializes in structuring U.S. and Chinese companies, disposing of assets and employees, communicating with government and other third-party agencies, and negotiating complex investment and financing transaction documents.
On a day-to-day basis, Josh advises major Chinese institutional investors in the U.S., handles disputes in the U.S., and provides legal services to Fortune 500 companies in China. Since joining the firm, Josh has advised clients in both the U.S. and China on a wide range of legal issues related to corporate operations, compliance, trade, dispute resolution, and government investigations.
