Professional Experience

Mr. Wei joined JunHe in 2013 and is based in our Beijing office. Since 2008 he has been engaged in patent-related services. Prior to joining JunHe, Mr. Wei worked as a patent examiner at the National Intellectual Property Administration.


Mr. Wei’s practice focuses primarily on patent and technical know-how, including civil litigations involving patent and technical know-how, patent prosecution, patent reexamination, patent invalidation and related administrative litigations. Many cases handled by Mr. Wei have been selected as typical cases by the Supreme Court. He is familiar with IP due diligence and freedom-to-operate analysis on patents, and has provided legal services in technology agreement drafting, review and negotiation in technology transfer and licensing.  Mr. Wei’s technical specialty areas are chemistry, pharmaceuticals, material sciences, telecommunications, computer sciences, mechanics and automation.
