JunHe is delighted to welcome Ms.GAO, Siyu as counsel to our Shanghai office. Her principal areas of practice include corporate and M&A, private equity and venture capital.
Ms. Gao possesses a strong academic background in both Chinese and international law, having graduated from Fudan University in China and Columbia Law School in the US. She is qualified to practice law in the People’s Republic of China and the State of New York, US and can work in both Chinese and English fluently.
Ms. Gao specializes in cross-border transaction structuring, regulatory coordination and the negotiation of key transaction documents. She is adept at translating commercial objectives into robust and efficient legal structures, providing reliable legal support in complex transactions. Ms. Gao has diverse industry expertise and her experience spans a broad range of high-growth sectors including technology, healthcare, consumer products, fintech and advanced manufacturing.
Before joining JunHe, Ms. Gao practiced at two other leading domestic and international law firms, where she accumulated extensive experience in cross-border transactional matters. She has advised well-known corporations and investment institutions on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance matters across jurisdictions involving mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and the United States. Ms. Gao has undertaken crucial roles in a number of Hong Kong IPO projects and has solid expertise in capital market transactions.
