Mr. Li Yi specializes in special situations investment and has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposal of non-performing assets, debt restructuring, structured financing, distressed M&As, banking and finance, real estate and other related fields.

Mr. Li provides legal services to a wide range of international and domestic clients. This includes foreign and domestic investment funds, financial asset management companies, local asset management companies, foreign and domestic banks, mezzanine investment funds, international investment banks, real estate companies, trust companies, large private asset management companies, asset exchanges and major non-financial enterprises. 

His representative transactions include providing comprehensive legal services to:

• Bain Capital, Oaktree Capital, Blackstone, Itochu and ADM Capital in acquiring various non-performing assets in China;

• China Orient, Cinda, Great Wall and other financial asset management companies in acquiring and disposing of various non-performing assets;

• Citibank, HSBC, SCB, BEA and Export-Import Bank of China in the disposal of or investment in non-performing assets.
