Mr. Gong Suni is a partner in JunHe's Shanghai office and specializes in dispute resolution and compliance. He has extensive experience in cross-border commercial litigation, arbitration and parallel proceedings in China and abroad.
Mr. Gong has represented clients in commercial litigation and arbitration matters before Chinese courts and arbitral tribunals. He develops and implements dispute resolution strategies in complex matters involving multi-layered legal relationships. Mr. Gong is particularly adept in handling disputes in the life sciences and healthcare, media, financial services, entertainment and sports sectors.
Mr. Gong also has substantial experience in cross-border dispute resolution. He regularly handles disputes involving multiple jurisdictions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Canada, Malaysia, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar. Mr. Gong coordinates with foreign counsel, assesses procedural and strategic issues under different legal systems and manages parallel proceedings in China and abroad. He has solid practical and academic research experience in the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in China.
Mr. Gong also advises clients on general legal and compliance matters, helping them identify, assess and manage legal risks from a dispute prevention and risk control perspective.
Before joining JunHe, in 2018 Mr. Gong served as a visiting lawyer in the International Trade Group of Holland & Knight LLP’s Washington, D.C. office, where he advised global clients on international trade compliance and dispute resolution matters.
