Ms. Tao Yuan is based at JunHe’s Shanghai office and has extensive experience in resolving civil and commercial disputes. She has represented clients at all levels of courts in China including the Supreme People's Court, provincial and municipal High People's Courts, and financial courts, as well as arbitration proceedings at CIETAC, SHIAC and other arbitration institutions. Ms. Tao handles disputes in financing trade, independent guarantees, letter of credit fraud, corporate governance, construction projects and product liability in industries including banking, insurance, reinsurance and other financial services, trade, logistics, warehousing, real estate, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce.
Ms. Tao has extensive experience in cross-border dispute resolution. She has represented domestic enterprises and large-scale state-owned enterprises in judicial proceedings in foreign courts, arbitration proceedings in ICC, HKIAC and other arbitration institutions, as well as expert procedures for ADR related todisputes in overseas projects. Ms. Tao is familiar with the international legal environment. Ms. Tao identifies the legal risks in cross-border business operations and provides strategic analysis and legal services that maximize the commercial benefit for her clients.
