TIAN, Ye (Tim) Partner

Professional Experience

Mr. Ye (Tim) TIAN practises in JunHe’s infrastructure team. Prior to joining JunHe in 2017, he practiced at a leading English law firm in their international infrastructure sector. 


Since joining JunHe, Mr. Tian has been significantly involved in transactional and contentious practices in relation to international infrastructure, energy and construction projects.


Mr. Tian provides legal advice on investment, financing and construction to Chinese SOEs in their overseas projects in various sectors, including traditional and renewable energy, mining, public transportation and industrial property and throughout a wide range of jurisdictions including Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He also represents Chinese SOEs in their dispute resolution procedures (arbitration and litigation) in China in relation to their domestic or overseas construction projects. 


Mr. Tian regularly lectures at Chinese universities and industrial organisations on international infrastructure projects, construction and disputes.


Mr. Tian co-authored a book titled "Risk Management Strategies and Case Studies for Chinese Enterprises' Overseas Investment & Construction" which was well received in the industry.
