Chen, Yijia Partner

Professional Experience

Ms. Yijia Chen is a partner at JunHe’s Shanghai office. She specializes in fund formation, PE/VC investments, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. Ms. Chen has clients in various industrial sectors including pharmacy, medical service, TMT, retail, consumption, manufacture, logistics, finance, and enterprise services.


Ms. Chen has extensive experience in advising fund managers on structuring and the formation of funds, and typical LPs such as fund of fund and family offices on their investment in USD and RMB funds.  She has represented many PE/VC clients such as Advent, CITIC Capital, MBK, FountainVest, Everbright Healthcare, Sequoia, CDH, Qiming Venture, Highlight Capital, Yuansheng BioVenture, and Biotrack Capital in their downstream investments, as well as many leading companies in private financing.


Ms. Chen is also experienced in IPOs and debt offerings. She advises public and private companies on a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, outbound investment, foreign direct investment, restructuring, and employee stock option plans (ESOP).
