Ms. Libin Shi is an expert in corporate and securities law. She has extensive experience in cross-border capital market transactions including offshore bonds, equity-linked securities and regulatory capital instruments and has led and worked on over a hundred offshore bond transactions.
Before joining JunHe, Ms. Shi worked at a leading international law firm for more than a decade where she handled many landmark transactions. These include the treasury bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance of the PRC and the local government bonds issued by Guangdong Province and Shenzhen, which was the first offshore debt offering issued by a Chinese mainland local government. Ms. Shi has worked on the offshore bond transactions by major central and local state-owned enterprises and private companies, including those of Chalco, Chinalco, Fujian Investment & Investment & Development Group, Zhejiang Expressway, Hainan State Farms Investment, China Yangtze Power, Chongqing Nan’an Urban Construction & Development, Wuxi Construction and Development Investment, Baosteel Group, Poly Real Estate, Xi‘an Qujiang Cultural Industry Investment Group and Contemporary Amperex Technology. Ms Shi has advised on multiple regulatory instruments and bonds offerings by major financial institutions, including Agricultural Development Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, China Zheshang Bank, Huishang Bank, Industrial Bank, BOCOM Leasing, CDB Leasing and Southwest Securities. She has also worked on deals which have won the Deal of the Year award at the IFLR Asia Pacific Awards.
