ZU, Xiaofeng Partner

Professional Experience

Since joining JunHe in 1998, Mr. Zu has provided legal services to a number of foreign enterprises, foreign invested enterprises and domestic enterprises in the areas of litigation, arbitration, labor, investments and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Zu’s legal practice covers many sectors, including manufacturing, real estate development, logistics, retail and services. Mr. Zu is an expert in policy analysis, the design of investment structures, transaction negotiations and the settlement of commercial disputes.

Education

Mr. Zu began his studies in Japan in 1987 and graduated with an LL.B. from Ritsumeikan University, School of Law in 1994. 


He was then admitted to the Graduate School of Law at Ritsumeikan University in that same year for a master’s program of civil law. 


He received his LL.M. in Japanese Law from Ritsumeikan University in 1996, and then continued his doctoral studies in law.

Mr. Zu obtained his lawyer’s license in 1999.

Language Skills

Mandarin and Japanese.

As the first carbon neutrality fund sponsored by a law firm in China, the BAF Carbon Neutrality Special Fund was jointly established by JunHe and the Beijing Afforestation Foundation (BAF) to promote carbon neutral initiatives, and encourage social collaboration based on the public fundraising platform to mobilize engagement in public welfare campaigns.
