Ms. Ming Dong joined JunHe in 2010. Her areas of expertise include restructuring and insolvency, dispute resolution and non-performing assets. Ms. Dong specializes in domestic and overseas legal issues including bankruptcy and restructuring, debt restructuring, insolvency liquidation, compulsory liquidation, and voluntary liquidation. In the area of dispute resolution, Ms. Dong has represented financial institutions such as banks, trusts, funds, bond trustee and asset management companies, in their corporate commercial litigation, arbitration, administrative litigation, and multiple types of bankruptcy derivative litigation.
Major restructuring & insolvency cases which Ms. Dong has participated in includes but is not limited to:Rendong Holdings Company’s (a listed company) restructuring project, Xiamen XGMA Machinery Company’s (a listed company) restructuring project, Fushun Special Steel Co., Ltd.’s (a listed company) restructuring project, Xilin Steel Group’s substantive consolidation restructuring project (with 40 companies involved) and Sichuan Guxu Coal Field Development Co., Ltd’s procedural consolidation restructuring project with other three companies. In addition to her role as a bankruptcy administrator, Ms. Dong also represents domestic and foreign investors in their equity investments and asset purchases in insolvency projects, declares creditors' rights for domestic and foreign clients, represents the actual controller of the debtor or the debtor, participates in insolvency projects on behalf of the Financial Creditors' Committee and bond trustee etc. and advises the government agencies on various bankruptcy and restructuring related matters.
Ms. Dong was named as one of China's Leading Business Lawyers of 2020,2022 and 2025 by Who's Who Legal and in 2021,2023,2024 and 2025 was listed in the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific Law rankings.
She has been listed in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
