Mr. Zhang joined JunHe’s Beijing office in 2007. Before joining JunHe, Mr. Zhang worked as a paralegal at a local law firm, and then at a joint venture’s advertising company as a legal counsel.
Mr. Zhang has in-depth professional insights and vast experience in the telecommunications, internet and hi-tech sectors. Over a decade of practice, he has provided a full range of legal services to many top companies on their Chinese projects in the telecommunication, internet and hi-tech sectors, including compliance analysis, deal structure design and legal document drafting. He has helped these companies to successfully localize and commercially introduce a variety of complex, cutting-edge projects and businesses into the Chinese market. In his corporate and M&A practice, Mr. Zhang has advised many companies in various sectors such as automotives, manufacturing, food and beverages, trading, e-commerce, software, telecommunications, internet, survey and mapmaking, media and education. This has been with respect to their daily operations, corporate governance, investments, M&A projects and other transactions. He also practices in IP related areas and has advised many multinational companies in the protection of their IPs in China as well as in their transactions. Charities and NGOs have also been one of Mr. Zhang’s main practicing areas.
