Rebecca Jie Tang joined JunHe in April 2006 and has been with the firm’s Beijing Head Office since then. Ms. Tang focuses on M&A, private equity, fund formation and capital market practice, with experience across a wide spectrum of industry sectors including healthcare, internet, culture and media, retail, real property, energy and environment.
Ms. Tang specializes in legal services for M&A and private equity financing transactions, excelling in deal structuring as well as drafting and negotiation of transaction documents. Ms. Tang has represented a number of renowned corporate clients and institutional investors in various deals of significant size and complexity, exceptional in their innovation and industrial impact. Over the past years, Ms. Tang has built a strong track record in the healthcare and TMT sectors with extensive deal experience.
Ms. Tang is a well-seasoned capital markets lawyer. She has acted for issuers and sponsors in a variety of securities transactions including onshore and offshore public offerings, major assets restructurings and private placements, and regularly advises listed companies such as SINA and Zhonghong Holdings on compliance, regulatory and disclosure matters.
Ms. Tang also has solid knowledge and practice experience in legal services for fund formation and operational matters.
From 2009 to 2010, Ms. Tang was seconded to Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities Co., Ltd. where she advised the securities company primarily on its compliance matters as in-house counsel.
