Li Yi joined JunHe in May 2011. Before that, she joined King & Wood in 2005 in their banking and finance practice. From 2001 to 2004, she worked with Bank of China Limited Shanghai Branch.
Li Yi specializes in energy, power and infrastructure project finance, structured financing, real property development/acquisition finance, asset finance, trade finance, cross-border ABL deal, banking compliance, and daily banking and foreign exchange business as well as legal affairs involving foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions and corporate business. She has provided legal services to Chinese and multi-national companies, commercial banks, investment banks and non-banking financial institutions in various large-scale international and domestic financing projects, ranging in size from millions of U.S. Dollars to billions of U.S. Dollars.
She has accumulated extensive experience in energy, power and infrastructure project finance and her exemplary deals include representing the sponsors in the Fujian Refining and Ethylene Project, representing the sponsors in several domestic nuclear power plant projects, representing the borrower in the Shanghai SECCO Refinance Project, representing the banks in the Shanghai LNG Project and representing the first financing project for a wind farm in China as arranged by an international lender.
