ZHOU, Fang Partner

Professional Experience

Mr. Zhou began his legal career in 2001 and joined JunHe in July 2002. During his two decades in the legal field, Mr. Zhou has accumulated vast experience in the areas of corporate law, securities law, M&A, enterprise re-organization, telecommunication law, international law, international environmental law and negotiation. He has served in various important milestone projects for several strategic clients, such as the Hair Group, Beijing Energy Group, CITIC Capital, and various international Big 500 companies and institutional investors.


Before joining JunHe, Mr. Zhou worked at the Department of Law and Treaty of the Ministry of Foreign Affair, and Jingtian Law Firm. Mr. Zhou unique experience in the areas of both public and private law.

Education

Mr. Zhou graduated from the Law School of Peking University and obtained his LL.B. in 1997. In 1998, he was been chosen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sent to the Foreign Affairs University to study international politics, diplomacy and English for one year. In 2004, Mr. Zhou was admitted to the Law School of Columbia University in New York and obtained his LL.M.

Mr. Zhou received his PRC lawyer qualification in 2001 and now is a member of the All-China Bar Association.

As the first carbon neutrality fund sponsored by a law firm in China, the BAF Carbon Neutrality Special Fund was jointly established by JunHe and the Beijing Afforestation Foundation (BAF) to promote carbon neutral initiatives, and encourage social collaboration based on the public fundraising platform to mobilize engagement in public welfare campaigns.
