Ms. Sun is a partner in the capital markets practice area of JunHe’s Beijing office. She is dedicated to providing diversified service in the area of securities law including reorganization, pre-IPO private placements, and initial public offerings on domestic and international stock exchanges. She also has experience in the areas of notes offering, post-IPO regulatory compliance, strategic investments, mergers and acquisitions, offerings of equity, convertible notes and debt securities, and going-private transactions.
She also has advised recognized private equity funds in their investment transactions.
Ms. Sun specializes in the areas of financial institutions, telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) and fintech industries.
She joined JunHe in 2004, and worked for several prestigious law firms after achieving her LL.M. degree in the US. Previously, just before rejoining JunHe, Ms. Sun was the General Counsel for the first PRC internet finance company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. She gained profound experience in capital markets and in securities-related legal practice areas, in particular in financial institutions and fintech industries.
Ms. Sun graduated from Peking University Law School with a Bachelor of Law degree and also from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago with a Masters of Law degree (Graduate with Honors).
Ms. Sun has been admitted to practice in the People’s Republic of China, and is a member of the All China Lawyers Association. She is also qualified to practice in the State of New York, US.
