Audrey Chen joined the firm in 1993 and practices in Beijing and Hong Kong. Her primary practices include corporate and M&A, cross-border investment, restructuring and divestiture of group companies and overseas listings, general corporate and compliance matters.
Audrey has more than 30 years of experience in the automobile, high-tech, manufacturing, education, energy and natural resources, luxury retail, pharmaceutical, food/agriculture, etc. She also focuses on the projects of the automation and robotisation industries in recent years. She has advised domestic and international clients across various industries, adopting creative structures and negotiating complicated legal documents for cross-border M&A transactions/internal restructuring of major global companies.
Audrey also provides strategic planning and advice for corporate compliance, including reviewing the clients’ existing compliance programs, improving or tailoring the programs to the client's needs in China, policy implementation and ongoing monitoring systems, risk/crisis management, regulatory guidance, supporting the clients when regulatory scrutiny or investigations are involved, etc.
Audrey is the Publication Officer of the Corporate & M&A Law Committee, International Bar Association.
