Mr. Benson Cui is a partner of Jun He Law Offices.


Mr. Cui has extensive experience in banking and finance and provides legal services to the most active foreign and domestic financial institutions in both international and PRC market. He represented many commercial banks and investment banks in a number of financing deals including syndication loan, acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, finance related to capital market, debt restructuring and trade finance, etc. In recent years, he focuses on commercial real estate, industrial park, data center and new energy and other new infrastructure sectors and has represented many financial institutions, transnational corporations and investors in various financing transactions in such areas.


The representative transactions advised by Mr. Cui include: Total-Envision distributed solar PV project financing (the first non-recourse project financing in Chinese distributed solar PV sector); Huaneng Renewables take-private transaction; Minsheng Bank/China Rongsheng cross-border debt-to-equity restructuring; GDS data center project financing; SASSEUR outlets REITs issuance in Singapore and related financing; BHG Retail REITs issuance in Singapore and related financing.

Education

Benson earned his LL.B. and LL.M. from Xiamen University in 2005.

Benson became qualified to practice law in the PRC in 2006.
