Ms. Zheng joined JunHe in June 2004. She has represented many multinational companies, Private Equity (PE) funds and state-owned companies in real property transactions in China, including due diligence, deal structure consultation, drafting of transaction documents and assisting in title transfer.
Ms. Zheng has also represented many multinational enterprises in the construction of their manufacturing facilities, R&D centers, and regional headquarters. This includes reviewing and advising on investment agreements with the government, acquiring/leasing land and buildings, drafting and negotiating construction-related contracts (based on government forms or FIDIC provisions), and advising on related regulatory matters. She has also assisted clients in real estate related disputes.
Ms. Zheng serves many luxury brands, fast-fashion brands, and digital product giants in the development of their retail network (physical and online stores) in China. She is highly appreciated by her clients not only for her legal skills but also her value-added and result-oriented advice, which helps clients to better adapt to Chinese culture and markets.
Before joining JunHe, Ms. Zheng was a government official at the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Administration (the former China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone), where she was in charge of approving foreign investment projects and technology importation.
Ms. Zheng obtained her LL.B. degree from the Law School of Shanghai University in 2002.
She is a member of the All-China Bar Association.
