Mr. Bu joined JunHe in 2011 to focus exclusively on PRC employment and labor law and was promoted to partner in April, 2016. Before JunHe, Mr. Bu practiced with a leading PRC firm for many years.
Mr. Bu provides advice on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment and labor issues, including those relating to all forms of employment- related arbitration and litigation, terms and conditions of employment, remuneration and incentives, human resources and workforce restructurings, employees data privacy, non-competition and trade secret protection, compliance investigation and disciplines, etc. Especially Mr. Bu has been highly recognized to use his experience and expertise in advising multi-national company clients on collective negotiations, industrial actions and union matters in China that are uniquely distinguishable from other jurisdictions.
Mr. Bu also integrates with JunHe’s transactional teams, lending his employment and labor expertise in the context of corporate deals across a broad range of industry sectors.
Mr. Bu works with a long list of esteemed clients both internationally and domestically. In recent years Mr. Bu represented clients in some of the most high-profile cases in the employment law area in China, including the first ever collective contract dispute case in China.
