Warren is the Managing Partner of JunHe. He joined the firm in 2012, bringing with him nearly two decades of diverse legal experience across domestic and international practice. His early career comprised five years of litigation and banking and finance work with local law firms in Beijing and Jiangsu Province, followed by twelve years advising on FDI, M&A, infrastructure, and project finance with two leading international firms in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou.
Over the course of his 32-year career, Warren has represented leading multinational corporations in greenfield investments, project finance, and complex M&A transactions throughout China. He has built an outstanding track record advising foreign investors on strategic investments in Chinese A-share listed companies and related restructurings. He has also counseled major state-owned enterprises on outbound investment and financing. His industry expertise spans water, transport, mining, automotive, banking, construction, and consumer goods.
Warren has been recognized by Chambers as a leading lawyer in corporate/M&A and banking & finance in China for many consecutive years. He was named "Managing Partner of the Year" by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in 2022 and "Innovative Leader – Asia Pacific" by the Financial Times in 2023.
