Mr. Jin Xinghui Joins JunHe’s Shanghai Office

JunHe sincerely welcomes Mr. Jin Xinghui to the team. He will practice in JunHe’s Shanghai office. Mr. Jin started his legal career in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, he worked at the head office of a renowned PRC law firm in Beijing, China and focused on foreign investment and corporate M&A. From 2007 to 2014, he worked with Kim & Chang, the largest and most specialized law firm in Korea, and focused on corporate M&A, cross-border business restructuring and dispute resolution. From 2015 to 2017, he worked at the New York office of Kobre & Kim LLP and gained valuable experience in cross-border dispute resolution and investigation matters.

During Mr. Jin’s legal practice in China, he has assisted foreign investors entering the PRC market through green field investments, joint ventures and/or M&A. He has assisted many multinational enterprises to incorporate wholly owned or joint venture subsidiaries in China and has served in their post-incorporation operations. During his time at Kim & Chang, he participated in many cross-border M&A projects which had significant impact on Korea’s M&A market and he assisted his M&A clients to transfer, restructure or integrate their assets and equity interests in their subsidiaries in the PRC. At the same time, Mr. Jin also provided legal service to many of Korea’s large multinational companies in restructuring their businesses in China.

Due to his excellent results in the national college entrance examination, Mr. Jin was admitted to the Department of International Economic Law of China University of Political Science and Law in 1997, and then obtained his master’s degree in law from Columbia Law School. Mr. Jin is fluent in Korean and English, and has been admitted to practice law in both China and the State of New York, US. He is one of the few lawyers in the PRC legal service market who has studied at the world’s leading law schools, and has valuable work experience in top-tier law firms in China, Korea and the US. In recent years, by virtue of his professionalism, legal knowledge and expertise in dealing with multinational enterprises, he has provided highly efficient legal services to numerous clients.
