Legal Times names JunHe as one of the Best Law Firms in Korea 2022

Legal Times, a well-known Korean legal media journal, recently announced their list of the 2022 best law firms in Korea. The list recognizes 22 foreign law firms providing excellent legal services in the Korean language, and JunHe was the only Chinese law firm to make the list.

JunHe’s Korean legal practice team advises Korean enterprises’ entering the Chinese market through greenfield investments, joint ventures and M&As. They have expertise in the restructuring and liquidation of Korean-funded enterprises in China, assist Korean enterprises with the resolution of disputes in mainland China, and provide advice to Chinese enterprises for their investments in Korea. JunHe’s team is led by Mr. JIN, Xinghui, who previously worked at the largest law firm in Korea and has been engaged in cross-border M&A projects with significant influence in the Korean M&A market. Mr. Jin has advised large Korean multinational companies and provided high-quality legal services in connection with the restructuring of their businesses in China. He has extensive experience in providing quality services for cross-border investment and financing transactions between China and Korea and the resolution of disputes arising therefrom.

JunHe’s Korean practice team has made great achievements in providing legal services related to their “going global” strategy. JunHe provided perennial legal services for Ctrip’s Korean business operations; advised an A-share listed company in Shenyang on its acquisition of a Korean automated equipment company; advised Asia Standard International and Giant Interactive on their investments in a listed securities company in Korea; advised Superhexa on its investment in Korea; and advised three major state-owned banks in China on establishing offices or branches in Seoul. While assisting clients to “go global”, JunHe also provides legal services related to a “bringing in” strategy. For example, JunHe advised Samsung Display on the sale of its Samsung 8.5-generation LCD production line and its strategic investment in TCL CSOT; assisted SK Hynix System IC in establishing a semiconductor wafer foundry joint venture in Wuxi; and advised Avon on the sale of its Chinese plants and businesses to LG Household & Healthcare.

With its superior integrated legal service platform, JunHe’s Korean practice continues to thrive.  The team look forward to assisting in the beneficial cooperation and sustained development between Chinese and Korean enterprises.

JunHe is the only Chinese law firm to be admitted as a member of Lex Mundi and Multilaw, two international networks of independent law firms. JunHe and selected top law firms in major European and Asian jurisdictions are “best friends.” Through these connections, we provide high quality legal services to clients doing business throughout the world.
