HUANG, Rongnan Partner

Professional Experience

Huang Rongnan joined JunHe in June 2010 and now practices at the Shanghai office as the deputy director. Before joining JunHe, he practiced at Shanghai-based Fu & Partners Law Firm from 1997 to 2010, as a partner and then director.

Mr. Huang is very experienced in litigation and arbitration, in particular, commercial disputes involving foreign elements and financial and investment disputes. He has represented clients in cases covering foreign investment, intellectual property, unfair competition, company shares and equity interest, real estate and construction areas. He has assisted a number of banks and other financial institutions in their cases involving financial disputes and secured satisfactory results for his clients. He is adept at litigation and arbitration strategies and well recognized by judges and clients for his eloquence in proceedings.

Mr. Huang has advised a number of top film, TV series, cartoon and online games companies as long-term legal counsel and has drafted investment, production and distribution, merchandising rights licenses and agency agreements for many Sino-foreign jointly invested films and famous cartoons and TV series. He is an experienced negotiator representing clients in high-profile events and projects such as Expo 2010 Shanghai and Shanghai Disneyland. He has advised many famous advertising companies, assisting them in reviewing advertisement service agreements and resolving advertisement service disputes.

Mr. Huang is the director of the Liaison and Publicity Commission and the Culture & Media Studies Commission of the Shanghai Lawyers Association.
