Mr. Rongnan Huang joined JunHe’s Shanghai office in 2010. Previously he worked as a partner, then a director at the Shanghai-based law firm Fu & Partners. He works as a deputy director at JunHe.
Mr. Huang is experienced in the areas of litigation and arbitration, particularly involving disputes in the cultural and media areas. He is experienced in commercial disputes involving foreign elements as well as disputes over company shares and equity interests. Mr. Huang has represented clients in many well-known and significant litigation cases covering areas such as foreign investment, intellectual property, unfair competition, company shares and equity interests, real estate and construction. He has assisted a number of banks and other financial institutions in cases involving financial disputes and has secured positive results for his clients. He is adept at litigation and arbitration strategies and is well regarded by judges and clients for his eloquence during proceedings.
Mr. Huang has advised a number of large online platform, film, TV, cartoon and online game companies as their long-term legal counsel. He has drafted investment, production, distribution and merchandising rights licenses and agency agreements for many Sino-foreign jointly invested films as well as prestigious film, cartoon and TV series. He is an experienced negotiator and has been involved in many high-profile commercial events and projects. He has advised numerous leading advertising companies and assisted them in reviewing their advertisement cooperation agreements, star endorsement agreements and dealing with PR crisis.
