Recently, "Convertlab", a leading domestic marketing cloud enterprise, completed more than CNY100 million worth of B financing. Tencent Industrial Ecology Investment and Lightspeed China will lead the investment in this round of financing, and Before Capital, the former investor, will continue to invest in this round of financing. JunHe, as the legal counsel of Convertlab, provided legal services throughout this round of financing.
Founded in 2015, Convertlab developed DM Hub, the first integrated marketing cloud product in China, and provides integrated marketing cloud solutions for enterprises similar to that of Adobe Marketing Cloud. For three consecutive years from 2018 to 2020, Convertlab was selected as the ‘Global Marketing Technology Ecological Atlas - Marketing Automation Sector’ and it has also been recognized by the North American market as an outstanding representative of Chinese marketing technology. Convertlab has served more than 300 enterprises involving a wide range of industries such as retail, consumer goods, finance, automobiles and real estate.
As counsel to Convertlab, JunHe has worked with Convertlab in successfully completing the A + and A + + rounds prior to this round. This round of financing involved the transfer of old shares，the increase of registered capital, the construction of an employee stock ownership platform, conversion of debt into equity investment and equity repurchase and so on. JunHe participated in the design of the B round financing transaction structure, the review and revision of the transaction text, the negotiations with the current and former round investors on behalf of Convertlab, and helped the company to successfully complete the financing, which won full recognition and praise from the client.
