JunHe is Selected in the First "ALB China Regional Market Ranking: South China Region" List

Earlier this year, ALB announced their “2021 ALB China Regional Market Ranking: South China Region” list. This was the first time that ALB has focused on regional legal markets in their ranking system. On May 21, the ranking list was officially announced, and JunHe was honored to be selected, highlighting the company’s strong regional reputation and leading market performance.

ALB said that after more than 40 years of development, China’s legal services market is prospering and playing a bright role both domestically and internationally. While China’s legal services’ markets are thriving rapidly, especially in Beijing and Shanghai, the regional legal market in China is also experiencing dramatic change, with local firms cementing their presence in the local market and/or seeking a national/global presence, and the regional offices of large firms are leading the way forward.

This year's competition highlighted the many outstanding law firms with headquarters in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Hainan. For those other companies without branch offices in these regions, they also noted their strong capabilities, outstanding achievements and performance. Selected and ranked by ALB's professional research team, the ranking is based on the professional strength, business layout, client relationship and development path of the law firm.

As one of the earliest partnership law firms in China founded in Beijing in 1989, the construction of JunHe’s branch offices in Southern China started in the early 1990s.

In 1992, JunHe’s Haikou office was established. This was the first step of JunHe’s expansion plan and the earliest branch office of the law firm in China.

In 1999, JunHe’s Shenzhen office was established. The services of the Shenzhen office are highly recognized by clients and we have been honored to participate in many landmark projects in Southern China over the past years.

In 2011, the Guangzhou office was established and now has over 90 staff. The size of our South China team has been further expanded and our service capacity has been further enhanced.

The comprehensive layout of JunHe's Haikou, Shenzhen and Guangzhou branches provide strong service capabilities in Southern China and further strengthen our regional legal service capabilities and influence.

JunHe is the only Chinese law firm to be admitted as a member of Lex Mundi and Multilaw, two international networks of independent law firms. JunHe and selected top law firms in major European and Asian jurisdictions are “best friends.” Through these connections, we provide high quality legal services to clients doing business throughout the world.
