Ms. Bai joined JunHe in 2012. She has extensive experience acting for clients in antitrust investigations, compliance reviews and merger filings.
Ms. Bai specializes in providing legal advice related to antitrust investigations and compliance issues. She has represented and advised various multinational and local companies in dawn raids, leniency applications and defense in antitrust proceedings. Her clients cover a wide range of industries including electronics, semiconductors, transportation, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, consumer products, automobiles and retail. Ms. Bai also provides advice related to antitrust compliance, in particular compliance risk assessment and antitrust reviews as well as competition law training.
Ms. Bai is experienced in advising clients on merger filing. She has represented clients in multiple high-profile merger filings in China, including the Shell/BG merger, the acquisition of Linear by ADI, and the acquisition of Alere by Abbott. Ms. Bai also provides advice related to merger filing analysis as well as structural design for PE acquisitions, privatization transactions and the restructuring of listed companies, from an antitrust perspective.
Ms. Bai was invited to attend the enforcement workshop as an expert in the China-EU Competition Law Project and actively engaged in the legislative process of antitrust regulations and guidelines, as well as various government workshops.
Ms. Bai was named by Legal 500 as one of their Rising Stars and Recommended Lawyers in the area of antitrust and competition law (Asia Pacific) in 2018 and 2020.
